These are the terms for a paid Athenana plan.
Nothing here changes what the privacy page says about your data.
There are two plans, each yearly or monthly.
Own key uses an Anthropic key you add; Hosted uses the operator's key, up to a yearly allowance.
Plans are sold in the United States only.
A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
About a month before a yearly plan renews, you are sent an email saying what will renew, for how much, and how to cancel.
A monthly plan gets one such email a year, on the anniversary of the day you subscribed.
Cancel any time in Settings → Billing.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the plan until then.
Payments are not refunded automatically, with one exception: when a card network warns that a subscription payment was probably fraud, that payment is refunded in full and the subscription is cancelled. If something else has gone wrong, write to support and the operator will decide.
A refund, when one is given, is made through Stripe to the card that paid.
If a renewal payment fails, it is tried once more three days later.
If that also fails, the subscription is suspended: you can still sign in, read, export and delete everything, and paying the open invoice brings it back.
An account that stays suspended for 180 days is deleted with everything in it, after emails 30, 7 and 1 days before.
Your price stays the price you subscribed at for as long as the subscription continues.
If that ever changes, you will be told by email at least thirty days before.
What you save is yours, and you can export it or delete your account at any time from Settings.
